As of November 4th, 2024, we have combined our Small Group and Individual Practice-Based Learning Programs to form one program, simply called the Practice-Based Learning Program (PBLP). Now learners in our program can learn both on their own and/or with a group and earn Mainpro+ credits for both!
- For Small Group Learners: Continue learning with your small group, earning up to 3 Mainpro+ credits per hour. Small group learners can now also work through modules on your own and earn 5 Mainpro+ credits per module by completing a Personal Practice Reflection Tool (PRT) and Follow-up PRT.
- For Individual Learners: Continue working through modules on your own and earn 5 Mainpro+ credits per module by completing a Personal Practice Reflection Tool (PRT) and Follow-up PRT. Individual learners can now also join a small group at no extra cost and earn 2 to 3 Mainpro+ credits per hour for group learning.
- Interactive Online Modules: All PBLP members can now enjoy the same module content in an online format with improved navigation across all devices.
- Practice Improvement Activities: Continue earning 20 to 40 Mainpro+ Assessment credits for these quality improvement projects.

Another exciting update for the approaching program year is that the College of Family Physicians of Canada has confirmed that our members will continue to receive the same number of credits for PBLP activities throughout 2025, and beyond, within the new CFPC Mainpro+ certification standards.
