FMPE is pleased to announce that family medicine residents can now earn Mainpro+ certified credits through the Residency Practice-Based Learning Program. By completing a module and an accompanying Personal Residency Practice Reflection Tool, residents can begin building their lifelong learning portfolio during residency, with eligible credits transferable to their first CFPC five-year certification cycle after graduation.
It is important to note that these credits are linked to the resident’s individual reflection and practice change process, not to participation in residency group sessions or completion of the Group Residency Practice Reflection Tool. This new feature encourages residents to extend learning beyond the group discussion by reflecting on how new knowledge applies to their own practice. Additional details and instructions will be shared directly with residents in September.
